It is extremely clear that the province has a racist climate that disallows career advancement for visible minorities. Individuals, politicians, researchers and officers of private and public organizations in Quebec choose to purposely fixate on language-based injustices of past generations in order to disallow the address of current racial inequalities that they commit and maintain by denying its very existence. When we control for education, experience and skill level, there is no doubt that visible minorities cannot achieve employment equity with their white colleagues. The majority of Quebecois will proudly announce that racism does not exist in Quebec. The same people will however scream from rooftops that there is a 21st century English-language conspiracy to eradicate the French-language from Quebec.
