A controversial book about Palestinian and Israeli kids will remain on library shelves in both area school systems, even after being pulled by other boards in Ontario.

Public boards in Toronto, York, Greater Essex and Ottawa have limited access by younger elementary pupils to Three Wishes: Palestinian and Israel Children Speak Out, by Deborah Ellis, after the Canadian Jewish Congress (CJC) expressed concern about the book’s appropriateness for younger readers.
