Le ministre des Affaires étrangères, Pierre Pettigrew, a été agressé mercredi soir à la station de métro Côte-Vertu dans le secteur de Ville Saint-Laurent, a appris TVA. Pierre Pettigrew, qui n’était pas accompagné de son garde du corps, parlait au téléphone cellulaire quand un homme de 24 ans l’a agressé.
L’individu aurait tenté de lui voler son téléphone. Une deuxième personne est intervenue pour venir en aide au ministre.
Le bon Samaritain, âgé de 19 ans, a reçu un coup au visage, le blessant au nez et à la bouche.
L’accusé, Frédérick Estell (d’origine haïtienne) , a passé la nuit en cellule. Il a été accusé jeudi de voies de fait et de vol qualifié. Il reviendra en Cour vendredi pour subir son enquête pour remise en liberté.
